Mmesoma Okonkwo
Mmesoma Okonkwo, born in 2006, is a 17-year-old Nigerian academic prodigy from Anambra State, currently residing in Lagos. She gained national recognition as the Head Girl of Chrisland High School, Victoria Garden City (VGC), Lagos, for the Class of 2023. Mmesoma is celebrated for her outstanding academic achievements, most notably earning the highest score globally in the English as a Second Language category during the Cambridge IGCSE examination. With a strong passion for leadership and excellence, she plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration at the university level. Inspired deeply by her parents, Mmesoma is determined to continue her journey of self-improvement through education. She is one of six siblings and has been honored with multiple awards throughout her secondary education for her discipline, intellect, and oratory skills.

In addition to her Cambridge success, Mmesoma also achieved A1 grades in all 9 subjects she sat for in the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) examsโa remarkable accomplishment that underscores her intellectual prowess and dedication.
Leadership and Awards
As Head Girl of Chrisland High School, Mmesoma demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and served as a role model to her peers.
