The couple, both Houston natives, got engaged on August 18, 2020, and officially tied the knot on June 27, 2021—a date that coincides with Houston’s celebrated DJ Screw Day, honoring the legacy of the legendary DJ Screw.
Their wedding went viral after they made a memorable entrance with a freestyle performance inspired by Houston’s iconic chopped and screwed hip-hop style. Kingsley, the professional rapper of the duo, initiated the idea, but it was Fatima’s spontaneous off-the-dome freestyle that stole the spotlight. Their performance, captured by Bricks Media Group, gained national attention and was featured by platforms like Black Love, The Shade Room, and 97.9 The Box.
The moment showcased not only their love for each other but also their shared passion for hip-hop and authenticity. Kingsley described the freestyle as a reflection of how they choose to live and love—unapologetically and on their own terms.
