His Highness Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi (Ogidi IV): Obi of Uruagu-Nnewi
His Royal Highness Obi Afamefuna Charles Obi, popularly known by his regnal title Ogidi IV, was born on November 3, 1985, into the distinguished Obi royal family of Ndi Ojukwu in Uruagu-Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. His royal ancestry is deeply rooted in one of the four traditional quarters of Nnewi town, a community noted for its cultural strength and economic influence in southeastern Nigeria.
Obi Afamefuna’s lineage is a proud continuation of a royal heritage that has played a central role in the leadership and spiritual life of Uruagu for generations. The succession line includes:
