Kunle Remi was born in Benue State but hails from Ekiti State. He grew up in Ibadan, where he completed his primary, secondary, and tertiary education. He is the second son among five siblings.

After secondary school, he pursued a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management at the University of Ibadan. Later, he furthered his education at Sheffield University in the UK, studying Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Passionate about acting, Kunle Remi moved to New York City to study Acting, Filmmaking, and Directing at the New York Film Academy, where he graduated in 2015.
