Born in Ubomiri Mbaitoli, Imo State, Nigeria, Ekeh was raised in a middle-class family. His mother worked as a dietitian, and his father was a nurse He attended Holy Ghost College in Owerri for his secondary education. Initially aspiring to own Nigeria’s largest transport company, his ambitions evolved during his university years .Ekeh pursued higher education in India, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Panjab University. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Risk Management from the University of Nottingham in the UK

In 2001, he founded Zinox Technologies Limited with the bold vision of producing high-quality computers locally in Nigeria. His goal was to reduce dependence on foreign technology and to position Nigeria as a competitive player in the global ICT space.
Right from its inception, Zinox Computers achieved a groundbreaking milestone by becoming the first computer brand in sub-Saharan Africa to receive the WHQL (Windows Hardware Quality Labs) certification from Microsoft. This endorsement was a testament to the quality and reliability of Zinox products. Subsequently, Zinox also earned the NIS ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification, further solidifying its reputation for excellence.
Over the years, Ekeh continued to drive innovation through Zinox. In 2013, the company diversified its offerings by launching the Zipad tablet, a sleek and affordable mobile device designed to cater to the growing demand for portable technology in Nigeria and across Africa.
