Tim I. Okeke
Tim I. Okeke was born on January 13, 1937, in Anambra State, Nigeria. He passed away on August 23, 2013, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Tim was the beloved husband of Kathy (née McKinney) and a devoted father to Shari (Emmanuel), Paul (Cassi), and Thomas (Madona).
He was also a proud grandfather to Adora, Leona, and Kingston. He is survived by his brother Sunny (Cheryl), niece Catherine, nephew Michael, and brother-in-law Bill McKinney (Jackie). In Nigeria, he is mourned by his siblings Beatrice, Irene, Sam, Ejeke, Cecilia, and Uju.
Tim was predeceased by his siblings Emeka, Goddy, and Vicky. Many relatives and friends around the world share in this great loss.
Special thanks are extended to the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital’s Emergency Room, Renal Clinic, and ICU (C5) for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Victoria Hospital Foundation.
The family received condolences on Sunday, September 1, at St. John’s United Church in Pointe Claire, with visitation from 2-4 pm and a service from 4-5 pm
