These claims emerged during a heated exchange between VDM and comedian Deeone, who had previously insinuated that Martin Otse (VDM) was involved in homosexual activities. VDM retaliated by redirecting the focus onto Nedu, alleging misconduct and threatening to disclose names of celebrities purportedly involved with him.

Amid the mounting allegations and public scrutiny, Nedu announced his decision to step down from the podcast on February 14, 2025.
